Carrie McLaren

I should be permitted to display this innovative new copyright infringing perspective on Harry Potter on my website, illegal-art.org. It provides Harry Potter fans across the globe with an interesting humorous twist on the normal Harry Potter series, why should fans be deprived of this material? The internet is an outlet for individuals to display their creative works, however, Warner Bros. is attempting to censor our freedom of expression via this outlet. This should not be allowed to happen.

  1. First of all you admit that it infringes upon copywright law which is a felony. Warner Brothers has not attempted to censor you rights on this issue or force you to take it down, as you have accused. As long as no profit is being generated on this work we do not have a problem with your display of this on your website. It should be noted that displaying this withing the United States is still a felony, though maybe untraceable and unenforceable. We have no right to stop the international distribution of this product and will not attempt to do so.
